Sasuga

About this add-on

Sasuga is an extension which offers a graphical user interface for Site-Specific User Agent Overrides.

Normally SSUAOs can only be added by working directly within about:config, but as the warning kindly reminds us, that page has dragons.
This extension gives the user a simple GUI from which it's possible to add any override without meeting any flying lizard.

After installation and a restart, the extension will add a command into the Tools menu. It doesn't have a toolbar button.
If you are not using the menu bar, the command can be found in the Preferences submenu.
As of version 2.1.0 it also appears in the context menu.

Quickstart:

  1. Visit the site you want to create an override for.
  2. Open the Tools menu (the Preferences submenu without menu bar) or the context menu.
  3. Select "Open SSUA Override" and then "With current domain".
  4. When the GUI appears, enter the override in the appropriate input field (it's immediately below the domain name.)
  5. Press "Add/Change".
